There is mounting evidence that radiation from wireless radiofrequencies may be harmful to the developing nervous system, particularly in children with preexisting vulnerabilities such as autism.  Small changes in nervous system function can lead to large changes over time, and current "safety" studies cannot possibly know whether current WiFi exposure will cause harm ten or twenty years down the line.  There is simply no reason to forcibly subject children in classrooms to WiFi when safer, wired alternatives are readily available.
